We Are Wright

On Sunday March 15, 2009 we blessed Emma Annalie Wright here at our church in Houston. It was a lot of fun having a lot of family and friends here to celebrate Emma with us. Here are some pictures from our fun that day.

We really are enjoying having 2 little ones in our home right now. Although no one can say anything to prepare you for the change from one child to two children. : ) It still is a lot of fun and we are enjoying learning along the way!

In the beautiful dress that Damon's Mom, "Peaches" made for her to wear on her special day! Emma even has on Damon's baby ring that he wore for his baby blessing and Jay wore the same one. We just changed the ribbon out to a pink one. Peaches even made the adorable head band that Emma is wearing. And it had lots of fun ribbons hanging from the back as well. Peaches did an amazing job on the whole outfit! Thank you Peaches for working so hard on this amazing dress for Emma! We love it and we love you! Thanks!!!

Jay holding his "Sisser"! Well we don't really allow him to hold her but he does enjoy being close to her. He is a great big brother and loves having his baby sisser around! And we love having both of them around.

I love how Emma is laughing in this picture. We loved having the Moders here for Emma's special day. The Moders adopted us when we lived in Amarillo with a brand new Jay. And since we lived so far away from family (10 + hours) they were great to have us over every Sunday for family dinner and treated us just like we were family. Never leaving us out. We love having them here in Houston and visiting us. Maybe we should hurry and have another one so that we can bless them next spring break so they have to come back. I AM JUST JOKING!!!!!!!!!! BIG JOKE!!!!!!!!!!! No way that is going to happen! But we do love having them here to visit.
