Well, the waiting game is killing us! We have learned that Damon can't put the kids in their car seats or change Emma's diapers. Actually, he really can't do anything that consist of bending over. When he bends over or does something to make his head lower then the CSF begins to leak out and the flood gates are opened. Yesterday before church he was putting Em in her car seat and after we all had to sit there for a few minutes so the fluid would stop dripping every where. Part of Damon's daily attire now consist of tissue stuck up his nose and tons of tissues in his pocket. Yes, he walks around every where with a plug up his nose. His patients are use to it now. He explained what all was going on and they have been very understand and nice to him. So if you see him walking around with the plug in his nose be grateful that he isn't letting is drip all over everything. Not that it looks weird because it is just a clear water-like substance, but the concept is nasty to think about. :) I feel bad for him because it must be a pain to continually change out the tissue in your nose and then to always have that stuff leaking. A lot of the times it goes down the back of his throat, GAG!!!! But I am so ready for this all to be over and for him to have his surgery and then released from bed rest!! Thanks again for all the prayers, support and kind words. We should be good to go until the surgery. We will be fasting the Sunday before his surgery, May 29, 2011, if anyone would like to join us. Again, we really appreciate all that you have done! Thanks!!
